VMware vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3a released
After releasing vSphere 8.0 Update 3 few weeks ago, VMware released the vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3a addressing some critical bugs.
For those who have already updated the Production to VMware vSphere 8.0 Update 3, it is recommended to apply this patch to avoid issues.
VMware vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3a what's new
Update 3a does not contain any new feature but only software fixes.
This update addresses the following issues:
- Updates to vCenter 8.0 Update 3 might fail due to unnecessary certificates in the VMware Endpoint Certificate Store (VECS).
- If you do not open port 9087 in your firewall between ESXi hosts and vCenter, compliance checks and vSphere HA might fail after vCenter update to 8.0 Update 3.
The patch can be downloaded from this link.
Additional info about VMware vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3a can be found in the Release Notes.
